Author Bio

The Privacy and IP Law Blog was originally launched on Blogger.com in April 2009, residing at http://privacyandip.blogspot.com.  It was moved to WordPress in October 2014, and was published in parallel until the fall of 2016.  Older posts can still be found at the Blogger site, formatted as they were originally written.  (The content has all been migrated to the WordPress location, but I have not gone back on any routine basis to reformat these older posts.)

Unless otherwise noted in a byline, all articles are written by me, Christina D. Frangiosa, and represent my opinion alone.  (See also the disclaimers below.)

I am an IP attorney practicing with Neal & McDevitt, LLC, in its newly-launched suburban Philadelphia office.  My practice is nationwide, concentrating on both litigation and prosecution matters, focusing mainly on copyright and trademark matters – from a prosecution perspective (search, clearance, applications, maintenance and use) and a licensing/negotiations perspective, as well as enforcement and defending against claims made against my clients (such as counterfeiting, infringement, unfair competition, false advertising, and internet-related matters).  I am admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, although I focus primarily on federal courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

You can find me on Twitter: @PaTMLawyer and LinkedIn, and I sometimes teach CLE courses through a variety of online webinar providers (e.g., Strafford Publications or Clear Law Institute) or in person through the American Bar Association’s Section of Intellectual Property Law or the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
